Altier Credit Union has been building on a reputation of financial safety and security since 1947. In fact, Altier CU is one of the Valley's oldest financial institutions and began as the Water Users Employee Federal Credit Union; the vision of eight forward-thinking employees of the SRP Water Users Association. Their goal was to organize a cooperative financial institution whose primary purpose was to promote thrift among its members and to create a source of credit at fair and reasonable rates of interest for provident and productive purposes by its members.

This vision later grew into the SRP Federal Credit Union in 1955, to SRP Credit Union when it converted to a State Charter in 1998 and finally into Altier Credit Union in 2006.

Today, Altier Credit Union is a full service financial institution, providing friendly, progressive and easily accessible service with ATM networks located throughout Arizona and nationwide.
